This up and coming 2008 Summer Season will be the 38th year the Chain Skimmers have been producing quality entertainment on the water.  The Chain Skimmers originated in 1970 at the Eagle River T-docks and quickly become one of the best ski shows in Northern Wisconsin.  In 1979, the team decided to purchase Lake Pleasant and the surrounding 107 acres.  August 5, 1994 was a landmark day in the Chain Skimmers’ history, because we were able to make the final payment on the land.  Since then, the Chain Skimmers are able to call the 107 acres surrounding Lake Pleasant, “home.” 
            Our success has not come easily, but it has been made possible due to teamwork, dedication, and continued support from our local communities, parents, and of course our audience! As a non-profit organization, our skiers donate their time, effort, and talents.  All our proceeds go back into producing a quality show, which we perform throughout the summer, beginning with our first show on Memorial Day and our final show on Labor Day.  Our regularly scheduled shows during the summer our every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 7pm.  We are located 3 miles north of Conover, 12 miles north of Eagle River on US Hwy 45.
