History of Lake Pleasant

This is the Chain Skimmers' 38th year of producing quality entertainment on the water. After originating in 1970 at the Eagle River T-docks on the Chain, the Chain Skimmers quickly became one of the best ski shows in Wisconsin. In 1979, the team decided to purchase Lake Pleasant and the surrounding 107 acres. August 5, 1994 was a landmark day in the ChainSkimmers' history, because we were able to make our final payment on the land. The Chain Skimmers are now able to call the 107 acres surrounding Lake Pleasant "home."
